It's still only April!

Yes, it's great to see the Red Sox take 6 of 7, it's fabulous to see Jeter fumbling so badly and get booed (I mean, I thought he was the best ever?), and it's always great to see teams that A-Rod plays for lose, and the teams he left win. It's just pretty damn exciting overall... but let's stay calm everyone. It's April. It's not October. The weather is getting warmer, not colder. Although these wins matter in the long run, they don't matter in October. In October the only thing that matters is 11. Eleven wins. Eleven wins and then the world ends. Sox win. But for now, let's just be happy, let's enjoy watching Yankee fans freak out, but overall, let's just remain calm. These are the Red Sox after all... "the best April team ever" as my good friend Hank likes to say. He's not wrong.
