Alright people, I've gotten over my initial shock, my initial queasiness. Sure, it would have been nice to have A-Rod and Magglio, but I'm just as happy to have Manny and Nomar. Oh, and let's not forget Schilling, Foulke and yes, Pokey Reese. Pitching and defense damnit, that's what's going to win it. Give me Curt, Keith and Pokey. I like my chances. A-Rod can sell his soul. How perfect that he's now going to be playing next to his "best" friend - another carefully crafted image of perfection. Just remember all the other ones before they were exposed to be the frauds that they are. I've never fallen for Jeter's perfect answers to every question - and I never fell for A-Rod's either.
