Well, I finally gave in and watched a World Series game tonight - because I love the game and because I wanted to see if the Marlins could win. They did, which is always excellent to see. Josh Beckett - one of my fantasy baseball boys for a couple of seasons now (that's right people, I had him before 'yall knew who he was!) - came up with a performance for the ages. A complete game shutout, are you kidding me Mr. 23-year-old? Yes, I still love baseball. Yes, I still love to see the Yankees lose. But I still can't bear to watch highlights of the Sox-Yankees series and I'm still having a hard time even watching the Marlins celebrate right now.
